About Freda Cronk
Freda Cronk MCIM Dip M, MIMA
mfc solutions ltd was founded in 2001 by Freda Cronk, a qualified marketing professional, in response to the need for practical marketing solutions for large and small businesses.
Freda is a member of Chartered Institute of Marketing, The Marketing Society, The Interim Management Association and The IMA Institute.
Freda has over 25 years senior marketing and brand development expertise and a proven track record.
Her expertise is in brand development, marketing and customer insights with specific focus on strategic brand proposition and market positioning, brand licensing management, communications planning and actionable marketing campaigns.
Freda began her career in business to business marketing for BBC Worldwide, has spent over 20 years in consumer marketing for FMCG, consumer goods and retail sectors plus over 5 years in international brand licensing and developments on UK and global brands.
Her experience brings both operational and strategic dimensions to clients’ briefs in blue-chips or SMEs. She is involved with small businesses, start-ups and networking groups.
Freda is well versed in many industry sectors and has applied her strategic post-graduate marketing training to many complex scenarios but also to some simple ones.
Freda has for many years held voluntary community trusteeships in the public sector and in private charities, where she has contributed her business and marketing expertise to these organisations, namely St John’s School Foundation Trust and The Duchess of Somerset Hospital Trust.
Freda leads a carefully chosen group of associates who are a great bunch of people but also the sort of managers who know how to get a job done and above all they enjoy working with people. Their complementary skills work well together as a professional consultancy team.

Freda worked as part of the Marketing team at B&Q and did a really great job for us. She joined at a time of change, but did not allow this to distract her from learning the business, which she did very swiftly, and then focusing on making a difference.
